Nishu Sood is a Managing Director in Real Estate Research, where he is responsible for analyzing single-family housing across different price points, product types, and markets in the U.S., as well as making portfolio allocation recommendations for the Firm's various real estate strategies. Prior to joining Pretium in 2021, Nishu was a Senior Equity Research Analyst at UBS, where he covered various companies related to the housing industry such as homebuilders, land developers, and building products. Previously, he was a Director of Equity Research for Homebuilding and Building Products at Deutsche Bank, and an Associate, Equity Research at Citigroup. He began his career at Stern Stewart & Co. Nishu received a Bachelor's in Economics from Columbia College and a MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was valedictorian. Nishu is a CFA charterholder.
