Jon Pruzan

Co-President
​Jon Pruzan is Co-President of Pretium, working in partnership with Stephen Scherr to oversee Pretium’s strategic and operational initiatives. He lends his 30 years of financial services experience to all aspects of Pretium’s business and its operating companies, including overseeing strategic development and the infrastructure functions at the investment manager, as well as our enterprise services initiative. Jon is a member of Pretium’s Executive Committee.​ Prior to joining Pretium in 2023, Jon spent over 28 years at Morgan Stanley (1994-2023), most recently as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President (2021-23). He was a member of the Firm's Operating, Management, and Risk Committees and the Morgan Stanley/MUFG Global Steering Committee. Previously he served as Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to 2021 as well as Head of Corporate Strategy from 2016 to 2021. Prior to becoming CFO, Jon spent 21 years in the Global Financial Institutions Group in Investment Banking, leading the group from 2010 to 2015. He started his career at PaineWebber in 1990. Jon received a Bachelor's in Political Science and Economics from Tufts University and serves on its Board of Trustees. Jon is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, the Board of Directors of the Peterson Institute of International Economics, the Board of Directors of The American Ditchley Foundation, and a Trustee Emeritus and past Board Chair of the educational nonprofit, Summer Search NY.​
