Emek Karaca is a Managing Director on the Real Estate Quantitative Strategies team, where he leads the development of advanced algorithms for asset acquisition, pricing and revenue management, and portfolio optimization. Previously, he was a Quantitative Modeler and Researcher at JP Morgan, specializing in risk analytics and pricing of residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities. Earlier in his career, Emek worked as a Research Economist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, focused on International Economic Analysis. He earned a PhD in Economics from Johns Hopkins University.
