Pretium’s real estate debt business expands housing supply in the U.S. by providing private capital to professional real estate investors, developers, and homebuilders.

Pretium Real Estate Debt is focused on capturing the extensive opportunities for non-bank lending at attractive entry points, as we believe the private credit model for housing has arrived. Pretium’s perspective is that limited supply, coupled with accelerating demand, position residential real estate debt as a favorable U.S. real estate asset class. Our track record in housing, coupled with our data and analytics across our existing portfolio of 175k+ units managed*, positions us to expand our impact in the residential financing ecosystem across homebuilder finance, multifamily debt, and other opportunistic real estate debt. Since December 2024, we have loaned homebuilders and developers more than $3B, enabling them to create more than 13,000 housing units.

*Includes single-family, build-to-rent, and multifamily units

Residential development and construction is a capital intensive business that requires capital providers with shared expertise, vision and execution capabilities to be reliable counterparties to homebuilders and developers. At Pretium, we’ve built a platform to be a qualified national lending partner with deep industry knowledge to help finance the construction and development of residences in the U.S. We pride ourselves in providing innovative financing solutions to companies building homes to meet the growing demand for housing.”
