Kunal Shah is a Managing Director and Head of Quantitative Strategy and Analytics in Residential Credit, where he is responsible for leading modeling efforts, quantitative strategy, and analytics. Prior to joining Pretium in 2019, Kunal was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was Global Head of Mortgage Strategies and a member of Mortgage Department Op-Com. At Goldman Sachs, he was responsible for the quantitative strategy group in various areas including mortgage residential loans, agency, and non-agency MBS, CMBS, ABS, consumer loans, derivatives, and warehouse business. Kunal received a Master's in Engineering from Stanford University in 2004 and has a MTech and BTech from IIT Bombay.
