Marty Young is Managing Director and Head of Research at Pretium, where he conducts analyses on residential real estate, residential mortgages and corporate credit. Prior to joining Pretium, Marty was the head of securitized products research at Goldman Sachs, covering RMBS, CMBS, ABS and CLOs. Previously, Marty was the head of credit and prepayment modeling at Freddie Mac. Marty began his career as an Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of Michigan Business School. Marty received his Bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
