Chief Executive Officer
Donald Mullen is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pretium Partners, where he leads the firm in its endeavor to identify and capitalize on opportunities in dislocated markets that will unlock value and drive superior returns. Mr. Mullen founded Pretium with over 30 years of experience in banking, financing, and investing.
Mr. Mullen is a former partner of Goldman Sachs, and until February 2012, was Head of the Securities Division’s Global Credit and Mortgage business, a member of the Management Committee, the Firmwide Risk Committee, and chaired the Principal Investments Committee. He also served on the firm’s Securities Division Executive Committee, the Firmwide Capital Committee, and the Public Policy Committee. Prior to joining Goldman in 2001, Mr. Mullen was a Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Credit at Bear Stearns and served on the firm’s Board of Directors and Management and Compensation Committee.
Mr. Mullen is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and is the Chief Investment Officer of the investment managers of Pretium’s single-family rental and non-performing loans. He received a BA in Economics from Yale University where he is an active member of the Development Board. He serves on the board of the Friends of the High Line.
